The BATH COMBINATION UNDER 14'S Team played on Tuesday 24th March at Old Culverhaysians RFC's new Odd Down Hub Club Sports Facilities.
The Squad of players were selected from the 4 Local State Schools ie Culverhay School, Beecencliff School, St Gregory's and Ralph Allan School, with each school putting forward there best 6 players to represent the Combination.
The boys played against the touring French team Les Cres College from Montpellier and the game was played in fantastic barbarian style with both sides running the ball at every opportunity. The Bath team won 29 to10 and the match was officiated by local Somerset referee Wayne Davis.
All players and supporters were then invited back to Old Culverhaysians Club House for a meal and after match presentations and speeches with both the French and English players saying a few words in the opposing side’s dialect.
